Interviews/Observations
Interview 1.) Held it by the straw and upright how a bowl would usually be held. Would use it as a cereal bowl, positives are that the bowl is light-weight and can sip fluids out of the straw, and something that could be improved is that it could be made out of metal or make the straw bigger so you could drink faster.
Interview 2.) Held it by the bottom, looked at it upside-down and turned it around, observing it. She would poor cereal and milk in the bowl and instead of tipping it up, she would use the straw to drink left over milk out of the bowl. The bowl is light-weight, and the concept is a good idea, dishwasher safe, and bright color. A way to improve it would be to remove the straw completely because it's unsanitary.
Interview 3.) Picked it up by the straw and tossed it around. He would use it to eat cereal out of in the morning. Positives are that there's a built-in straw to slurp the milk out of so he doesn't spill it all over himself, it's plastic so it won't break easily if you drop it. Improvements would to change the color, or put a filter of some sort by the straw so cereal doesn't get stuck in it.
Interview 4.) Held it with both hands, sucked out of the straw to try it out. He would put cereal and milk in it, could also put soup in the bowl. Positives are that it has a straw so he can suck milk out of it when he's done with the cereal, also the unique shape of the bowl so you can "grab it and go." Improvements are that you could attach a spoon to the side of the bowl, it is also light-weight, and needs to have two straws for "double suction."
Interview 5.) Held it with both hands and tipped it around. He would eat cereal or soup in it and drink out of it. Positives are that it has a straw so you can drink a liquid out of the bowl with out spilling it everywhere, it is also light-weight. To remove the straw and put a pitcher-like edge on it instead so it's more sanitary and easier to clean.
